“First they ignore you, then they laugh at you, then they fight you, then you win.”
-Mahatma GandhiI really believe in Mahatma. With this statement, humility is most up to. I like the idea that even though people are bringing you down it still project that in the end you will win. Winning that is a fruit of goodness and humbleness and not by pride and rudeness. I still hope that someday, the world will be filled with the spirit of humility and not pride. For I also do believe that with humility we could heal the world and by pride we could tear the world. Though this things are less possible.
"The Carpenter's Gift"
I can really relate my ways of solving arguments in the story "The Carpenter's Gift". In the story, older brother wanted to build a fence as a response to the conflict. Well I won't do the same thing. Because if I am in his place, I would rather supply the materials to build a bridge as if I am the one who takes the first action to reconcile and let the opposing party do the next step.
Though I don't do this manner in every conflict in my life but I am certain that this is my usual reply to any misunderstanding.
There was one instance in my life where my younger brother and I had a disagreement that lead to a strife. And none of our suggestions was a solution. Then maybe we both realized we are both wrong. So then I started the conversation with peaceful tone which made him calm. Finally, the problem is solved.
Even you act positively on the conflict it would somehow depend on the other hand. For things are not always in common and patterns of life has no definition. All problems has it's own kind of answer.
"Life is patternless because if it does, it would be meaningless".
